One thing I love about our current residence is the copious amount of natural light that spills through the windows. There are windows on every exterior wall, thoughtfully placed to ensure the best views of the neighbors, the church playground, and the pool. As I get out of bed in the morning, I begin the daily routine of "opening up" as I proceed through the house. First stop, two windows on my side of the bed, then the bath, then the closet, the small office, etc, until all the curtains are tucked away and the blinds are up. Being that we sit high in the trees and away from most of the street action, I don’t think twice about what people might be able to see – until just now. Only after my pants were down and I was getting ready to perch on the toilet did I notice the power guy in the cherry picker, cutting limbs on the trees immediately outside the bathroom window. The only way to avoid eye contact was to crouch down to the floor and crawl away, pulling my pants behind me. He was laughing with me, not at me, right?
